Position Summary

The Bell Desk Attendant is the first point of welcome to our arrival guests and the last point of farewell upon departure. This position assists arrival and departure guests with the smooth transfer of luggage, packages and the safe and efficient movement of vehicles in line with established processes. They also assist with providing directions to guests and arranging transport during the day.

 

The Role

  • Verifies arrival and departure details and arranges luggage handling and transportation and other services requested by guests.
  • Delivers and picks up guest baggage as assigned by Team Leader – Bell Desk Supervisor. 
  • Stores luggage according to standards. 
  • Directs incoming guests to the check in area whilst offering to handle any luggage the guest happens to be carrying.
  • Escorts guests to their rooms, explaining all in house and room facilities. 
  • Hails taxis and answers guests’ inquiries.
  • Prevents entrance of unauthorized persons; keeps main entrance and frontage neat at all times.
  • To assist traffic and the parking of vehicles at the main entrance.


Talent Profile

  • Full Drivers license. 
  • Experiences in similar role at luxury hotels/resort or commercial facilities. 
  • Basic computer skills with hands on experience in room maintenance. 
  • Good spoken English. 
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
