Position Summary Being part of a team, the Bartender is an enthusiastic member who is dedicated to providing the highest standard of Capella in the curation of memorable drinking experiences for all guests, a master of their craft. The ideal candidate will possess a sound knowledge of mixology, a flair for creativity, and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting innovative and high-quality cocktails, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall ambiance of our sophisticated bar. The Role: - Create and serve a diverse range of expertly crafted cocktails using premium ingredients and precise techniques.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new spirits, and innovative mixology techniques to continually enhance the bar menu.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and contribute to the development of new beverage offerings.
- Be attentive and anticipate guests' service needs, including creating connections to understand their preferences in order to provide personalized service.
- Be knowledgeable of beverage items on the menu and have the ability to recommend menu combinations and upsell alternatives.
- Assist other colleagues to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
- Recognizes the importance of Forbes standards to deliver excellent service performance.
- Ensures any guest's feedback and complaints are communicated promptly to management.
- Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Be knowledgeable of and follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol.
- Perform closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist.
